Roy Johnson is the proud owner of Sweetgrass Home Services. After exiting the military in 1998, Roy spent years learning the Pest Control business by working with several leaders in the industry including Sears and Orkin. During this time he took extensive termite and pest control training in Atlanta, GA.

With the rapid increase of people buying and selling homes in 2016, Roy decided to leave his former employer to form Sweetgrass Home Services. Sweetgrass Home Services has continued to focus on performing clear and honest inspections for the people of the lowcountry. Through a continuously evolving training program our technicians are always working to keep homes safe from pests as well as the environment safe from the overuse of harsh chemicals. With this said the chemicals that we use are effective, but not harsh and overbearing.

Today, Sweetgrass Home Services has a continuously growing team of dedicated technicians and skilled craftsmen. To date, Sweetgrass Home Services has completed over 4,000 inspections.

Sweetgrass Home Services is BBB certified and also has a clear record with Clemson. Clemson regulates all termite and pest control companies in South Carolina. Sweetgrass Home Services works with over 400 Realtors in South Carolina and multiple veteran Mortgage Lenders in the United States.
